Alaska personal injury attorney Igor Herbey comes from a large trial firm, where he was mentored by senior trial lawyers and specialized in civil and criminal litigation. Prior to his time at the trial firm, Igor worked for a major immigration firm, where he gained extensive experience in federal courts and procedures. His trial and federal experiences led Igor to develop a love for helping the individual against large adversaries, especially when the individual is hurt in an accident or by a defective consumer product.
Igor completed his legal education at Georgetown Law. While at Georgetown, Igor was heavily mentored in litigation strategies, when he interned for the litigators Robert Amsterdam and Gary Horlick. Igor completed undergraduate business school at the University of Alabama, where he double majored in Economics and International Relations. He graduated number one in the Economics, Finance, and Legal Studies Department. Igor also studied abroad at the London School of Economics, and the KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux, France. A naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Ukraine, Igor speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and French.
